No! 100% an exaggeration, however, Ceramic does increase resistance to scratches.
No. Depending on the Ceramic Coating applied you can expect as little as 1 year to as much as 10+. I specifically offer 1, 3, 5, or 10+ year Ceramic Coating options. However, I am willing to work with the customer regarding another brand Ceramic Coating if preferred.
Yes! I offer maintenance packages with product guarantee if maintained by Wittmann Detailing. If declined, the customer will be educated on the proper way to wash and maintain the Ceramic Coating.
Technically, no. Paint Correction is not required to prepare the surface of the vehicle for ceramic coatings. Many may refer to paint correction as a customers personal preference, especially if installing a 1-2 year coating seeing as that is a very short lifespan. Personally, I recommend my customers consider at minimum a Single-Stage Paint Correction service be performed, removing most swirling and marring, overall increasing the gloss of the paint making it more visually appealing.
YES! The benefits of even a basic Single-Stage Paint Correction is worth the cost. Removing swirls, marring, and other defects makes the paint clearer, pure, and more glossy. The final “look” is dependent on the condition of the paint. Coatings complement the quality of the paint. A Single-Stage Correction is non-invasive to the clear coat.
There are many variables when it comes to Ceramic Coating. Ceramic Coating outside can be risky even in the best conditions. Wittmann Detailing prefers to use our shop. We have a climate controlled location out of the elements where we can safely and professionally apply Ceramic Coatings effectively.
1 Year Ceramic Coating
1 Year Ceramic Coating is by SystemX or Pearl Nano.

- Coverage time is up to 1 year depending on care. Will provide UV protection and hydrophobic effects making it easy to clean.
*Any Paint Correction is additional. Can discuss upon meeting if this is the best choice for your vehicle. Rates may differ depending on the condition of the vehicles paint.

2 Year Ceramic Coating
2 Year Crystal+ Ceramic Coating by SystemX is recommended to revive your vehicles paint, increase GLOSS, protecting it and keeping it showroom quality for the next 2 years (maintenance options available).
