No. Depending on the Ceramic applied you can expect as little as 1 year to as much as 10+. I specifically offer 1, 2, 5, or 10+ year Ceramic Coating options. However, I am willing to work with the customer regarding another brand of Ceramic if preferred.

Yes! I also offer maintenance packages with product guarantee if maintained by Wittmann Detailing. If declined, the customer will be educated on the proper way to wash and maintain the Coating.

Technically, no. Paint Correction is not required to prepare the surface of the vehicle for ceramic installation. Many may refer to paint correction as a customers personal preference, especially if installing a 1-2 year coating seeing as that is a very short lifespan. Personally, I recommend my customers consider at minimum a Single-Stage Paint Correction service be performed, removing most swirling and marring, overall increasing the gloss of the paint making it more visually appealing especially on older vehicles.

YES! The benefits of even a basic Single-Stage Paint Correction is worth the cost. Removing swirls, marring, and other defects makes the paint clearer, pure, and more glossy. The final “look” is dependent on the condition of the paint. Coatings complement the quality of the paint. A Single-Stage Correction is non-invasive to the clear coat.

There are many variables when it comes to Ceramics. Ceramic Coating outside can be risky even in the best conditions. Wittmann Detailing prefers to use our shop. We have a climate controlled location out of the elements where we can safely and professionally apply Ceramic Coatings effectively.
